Jane Jacobs Inspired Pub Crawl

Join Friends of Downtown on April 29th for a leasurely libation fueled tour of a few historic drinking holes Jane herself would approve of. 

First Stop: Pearl Tavern (180 N. Wacker Drive) - 5:00 pm - On this site, at the intersection of the 3 rivers, stood the Sauganash Hotel, and Later Wigwam, where in 1860 Republican nominee Abraham Lincoln secured his location on the presidential ballot.  

Stop #2: Cardozo's Pub (170 W. Washington) - 5:45 pm - This pub historically provided food and drink for decades of Chicago's finest politicians and legal minds. 

Stop #3: Miller's Pub (134 S. Wabash) - 6:45 pm - Miller's is one of Chicago's more historic establishments and celebrity hangouts since 1935. If you like dark woodwork and stained glass, this pubs for you!

Stop #4: The Berghoff (17 W. Adams) - 7:30 pm - Last stop and time for dinner (or one last drink) at arguably Chicago's most famous historic restaurant. Enjoy stained glass and murals of the 1893 worlds fair while enjoying fine German food and beer.
