Cliff Dwellers, in co-sponsorship with the Friends of Downtown and the Chicago Chapter of the AIA, are pleased to present another in a series of lectures at the Cliff Dwellers on Projects by Chicago Architecture Critics: Blair Kamin will talk about his most recent book, "The Gates of Harvard Yard" which is a result of his 2012-2013 Nieman Fellowship at Harvard University.
Blair Kamin is the architecture critic of the Chicago Tribune, a post he has held since 1992. He is a winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism and continues a tradition of accessible but authoritative criticism begun by the Tribune's first modern-day architecture critic, Pulitzer Prize-winner Paul Gapp. Kamin also serves as a contributing editor of Architectural Record magazine and was part of a team of editors, writers, photographers and critics for the magazine which in 2003 won the National Magazine Award for General Excellence.
Additional Info: The door and bar open at 4:30. A buffet dinner will be served at 6:15 and the program will begin at 7:00. The price per person for dinner is $35 and the program that follows is free.
