Cliff Dwellers, in co-sponsorship with the Friends of Downtown and the Chicago Chapter of the AIA, are pleased to present another in their series of architectural lectures on Thursday, April 13, 2017; Wrigley Field Historic Rehabilitation and Restoration - It’s Not Just a Ballpark, presented by Bill Ketcham and Andy Pigozzi.
The presentation will include an overview of the 1060 project which includes Wrigley Field, the adjacent Plaza, the Cubs Office Building, Hotel and expanded baseball operations. It will focus on the historic landmark issues, technical forensics and challenges and the sequence of building between baseball seasons and how winning impacts the schedule. The renovation extends well beyond the friendly confines and we will discuss how the master plan and collateral development will enhance the greater Wrigleyville neighborhood.
